The last time I tried, maybe 4 years ago, YouTube wouldn't even "publish" it. Even for private use only! If the video stays up, I'll try uploading some other red vinyl Beatles MONO tunes. I like them and the original Parlophones the best.

Times, they are a-changing, my friend.

Perhaps they will also allow Michael Jackson tunes. Didn't they buy up the Beatles' rights?

J'ai retrouvé de vieux enregistrements l'un fait avec un smartphone fion6 et l'autre fait avec deux micro C2 Behringer avec le même système à même distance (2 m)

I dug up some old recordings: one made with a smartphone, and the other with two Behringer C2 microphones using the same setup at the same distance (2 meters).

le cardioïde est préférable pour limiter les effets de salles néfastes.

D'autres essais en position "ORTF"

The M30 is an omnidirectional measurement microphone, while the C2s are cardioid microphones.

A cardioid pattern is preferable for minimizing detrimental room effects.

Further tests using the "ORTF" configuration.

M30s are stellar measurement

I wish I had a Earthworks measurement mic to use in the field for measurements. Quality mic for tuning with Smaart software. To bad I have the ECM8000 which still does its job.

One more. This one has great spatial layering and subtleties which my POS phone doesn't capture well. It does however capture my finger at the very beginning, situating the phone.

I like the mic hypercardioid pattern. It's even more directional with less side and back pickup.

Anyone feelin' blue? Then this one's for you. This track is from the original JVC XRCD. and it's being played over the Gen. II California Cube Evo which uses a single 8" full range driver, as opposed to multiple 4.5" FR drivers in the Gen I Cubes. I also subbed out the C375BEE for a restored C372...not that it makes any difference.

P.S. I apologize that at some point in the video, you'll have to do the Pug head tilt since the phone was tilted.
