I told my son to learn as much as possible about AI. For better or worse, this is where much art is headed. There are a couple of summer internship courses he took at companies that do post-production editing and fix-it work for animation studios. Very interesting stuff.

Yeah. Many people don't want to admit it — the fear of an unknown future — but AI is here to stay.

For people just starting out in life, it's better to learn to use it. This kinda reminds me of when computers started occupying businesses. There were Luddites who refused to learn how to use them, for whatever reason. And many weren't retirement age. The companies "retired" them. :(

Log completely out of AK, erase your history, and don't follow a link from email notifications. Completely shut down the phone (don't just reboot). Fire up the phone, Then, Log in.

Been on the search for 2 Powered Definitive Technology Super Cube 3's. Problem is, not so much the expense .. as much as not wanting to pay almost $400 Market Place Price for something that may work, or could go out at any time. They'd be perfect for the footprint I desired and paired with my ADS L400's. Problem is, they are not serviceable as parts are not available.

Garry, personally I have not tried the super cube sub but at one point a while back I was considering one but the older model super cube series. I was interested with the one that had the variable HPF and phase. Pretty hard to fine one with these parameters unless you go with DSP ones and they can get pretty pricey.
 
One note I'll say about small subs: my experience with their use in cars is that the amp in a sealed box can shorten their lifespan. I'm not sure if the models that you are looking at have this feature. You need to make sure the designers addressed heat dissipation issues.

That would be the Super Cube 2 as memory recalls. I just at this time can't recall what it was about the 2 that made me look away, but I won't turn one down if it comes up at a worth the risk price? In any case, most Market Place offerings here in Dallas are always a bit more then I want to pay for the faltering trust I have in "Honest" people.
 
I read some good information about passive and powered sub and there advantages and disadvantages for both. Powered speakers make it more convenient for everyone just plug-n-play sort of speak before tuning but they do have a higher rate of failure do to various factors regardless the cost. Passive subs rely on a separate amp and processor for the parameters of the sub so keep that in mind.

If you ever still want to go the passive route and have an amp and sub in mind, for a simple processing I think this is good.
