Hi Garry!
You want the Supercube 2, has more power than then the Supercube 3.
It’s what I use exclusively with my Magnepan MMGs. Amazing bass from a small footprint.

SuperCube II features a massive 1,250-watt amplifier and an 8-inch driver, and two 8-inch passive drivers making it significantly better for large rooms and demanding home theater explosions.

In contrast, the SuperCube III scales things down with a 650-watt amp and 7.5-inch drivers
 
@GD70 Thanks Glenn! Funny you posted this when you did. I've been looking for the 2 exclusively since this topic came up. Unfortunately, I see less SCII's then the III's. You know how I fell about your recommendations, so I'm going for the SC II.

The II, like all powered subs, does suffer from amp failure, so be careful when you find one working, most are being sold for parts.

My 2nd new to me vintage - from the year 1980/81 - Philips 22AH708 AM/FM Stereo Varicap Receiver in a test demo ad-hoc set-up in my room. With a short FM stereo preset demo / test.
Antennae is an indoor T-Wire dipole antenna.

Didn't work. In fact I can't even log out of AK on my phone; anytime I click on the link in google search to go to the home page, it immediately takes me to a 403 forbidden error. Works fine on windows though.

Yes, it seems the site seems sensitive to the platform type (phone, computer, iPad) and the specific operating system version.

I love Audio Note single-ended amps! You have a total of five 45 amps? Man! The cost of tubes alone is impressive!

If I had to have one amp, it would be that Paladin.

The last time I tried, maybe 4 years ago, YouTube wouldn't even "publish" it. Even for private use only! If the video stays up, I'll try uploading some other red vinyl Beatles MONO tunes. I like them and the original Parlophones the best.

Times, they are a-changing, my friend. :)

Yep, same here about a couple years ago, had 2, was Rain and Postman. First was claimed before I was able to get the second one uploaded. Thing is, I've noticed others have been able to and they have large subscriber base's (excluding "The Beatles" channel). Obviously outside US and GB postings. So I don't know if often it's regional or something else whereby they get a pass?

It's a pain to set up all the recording and camera equipment. Record several takes to get the best one. Upload the sucker to YouTube, only to find out it's rejected. As far as I know, there is currently no list of which tunes are okay to upload to YouTube and which are not.

I uploaded the first Blondie tune last year, which hasn't been removed. So, I think copyright may not be as strict for non-monetary members. :idea:

Yes, I agree with the set up time, then processing time. I would do more just for the fact that it's kinda fun! I'm certainly not looking to make any money or attain subscribers.

This is what I surmise happens. Copyright owners have their own lists, with active bots that scan the world for there songs. Youtube uses that list and automatically flags the song via title or sound signature. This we can assume is true. What some don't know, is that Youtube if allowed by the Copyright owner will pay the owner penny's on the dollar for fair use. If you don't monetize your video, they will stick in at least 2 30 second ad videos, which the probably make 10 cents (??) definitely more then what they pay to the Copyright owner that's for sure, to make up for us using the song. IF you monetize, obviously the rules change, and it's those folks who get the strikes. For interest in the topic, I've condensed my findings of course. In summary, someone gets paid on these uploads.

Yeah, this ownership of songs and the copyright payment rules are in a legal world that I'm not familiar with at all. I'm just happy that most songs stick. Even weirder, I have had a couple get banned, maybe a year after the upload, then later reappear. I figure that maybe a commercial or movie paid to use that song, and "owns" some legal right to it for a while. :idea:

The other thing I found is that a faster 720P upload has pretty good audio quality. 1080HD audio is only slightly better to my ears. The video is way better. However, the upload time for 1080HD can be quadruple that of 720P, depending on the Net traffic. And I have fast service.

YouTube has a link (I can't find it now) to the AI software it uses to scan every upload for copyright infringement. It seems powerful and fast.
