The Liberal Cup, Hallowell

Reuben, and Cesar with Salmon. Nice place, good people and service. A great place for lunch. It has a breezy outdoor space that's perfect when we've been riding our bikes.

Notice those plastic chairs ? Made in Italy. Very cool.

A new deli has opened near us - sourdough bread, lovely cheeses and (and I can't stress this enough) A PORK PIE!!!! I think I can feel a bottle of something chilled with a blush happening any minute now 729185983_4677189922565783_3618009408597131757_n.jpg
 
Wife and I went to lunch at a New ro us poboy shop here. I ordered a cup of crawfish etoufee and a fried shrimp pistolet. The pistols is a small French bread roll that they deep fry for a short period then make a sandwich with it. Bread was slightly crispy on the outside but different than regular French bread crispy. I saw they have a special where you can get three pistolet sandwiches for $12. I know what I am having for lunch one day next week. You can get roast beef. Fried shrimp, oysters, or fish. I didn't take a pic UT here's one from the web.
