That may not look like much- but it's capable of playing down to SIXTEEN HERTZ, in the back of my Nissan king-cab truck. From just a single 6.5" driver (Orion XTR6.5) Just built it (I haven't even had time to upholster it with carpet yet), and put it and the Alpine amp that's driving it, into the truck last weekend.

I didn't expect it, and the rest of the system (MB Quart 6.5" midbass in doors, Dayton Audio titanium tweeters on the A-pillars, and an Alpine CD-E175BT CD player) to be able to reach this high of a level of performance as it does. I mean, it's rivaling a bunch of HOME audio systems I have heard- I'm talking about stuff where people have $10K or more in the home system, too.

Regards,
Gordon.

I don't see a picture.

Since you're using a sub I'd go with a taller baffle.
Agree. A taller slimmer baffle with maybe one wing will sound cleaner and image way better. Tsdaron, check out Danny Ritchie on you tube and watch him explain OB building. His methods get the most out of a driver using open baffle.
