I know it's not a Technics, but I have a Fisher integrated with STK-0080 Power Packs. I know better than to post in the Fisher forum about these later "Fishers" due to them not being real Fishers anymore. 
People in this forum were a great help when I repaired a Technics integrated amp I had with STK's. Is there an easy way to test the STK-0080's out of circuit?

Wow, what a beauty! Wish I had one for my SU-/ST-3600 combo from 1972. Sure, my SL-1310MK2 has better specs, but the beauty of the original SL-1000 with its wooden plinth is just unmatched.
The SL-1100 is another beau, but either comes with a metal cover or, if you can get the (in my opinion nicer) wooden tonearm board, a completely out of place tonearm, typically an SME-3009.

Check for collector-emitter shorts on pins (2 & 3) then pins (8 & 9)

In circuit I’d expect to see
Pin 1... -1.2V
Pin 2... -B (rail V)
Pin 3... 0V
Pin 8... 0V
Pin 9... +B (rail V)
Pin 0... 1.2V
These voltages are approx - may deviate minorly
A core indication of power IC functioning correctly is voltage at output (pins 3 & 8) should be within 2V of pin 0
Pin 1 should be 3.6v or under In difference of pin 0 (and within 2v of pins 3&8)
Check that Emitter resistors are ok.
If you have high DC at output check pin 0.... if it’s in the same bracket fault will be in VAS (or previous stages if direct coupled)

Got this earlier this week from the local GW. $12.99, and works. Love the power meter. Surprisingly not much info online on this particular model. Technics SU-Z760. I imagine was part of a rack system. Not the best sounding I've heard, but a good garage amp.

I haven't gone through all 57 (!!!) pages, but did anyone else have one of these?
It's the SA-R40. Cassette/receiver combo, the cassette deck uses Sendust Alloy head (the only kind worth having, really), and has a plug on the front for a wired remote control.
Sadly, some movers "lost" it several years ago.
I also have a set of 9011/9021/9031 components without the rack ears, still need to find a matching cassette deck. (Although it will be just for show, since I've never seen any other Technics deck with Sendust Alloy), and I have a still-new-in-box ST-8080 tuner. I need to find the matching SU-8080 amp for that, but haven't found one still-new-in-box yet. Might have to settle for "mint." And I have some SU-8077 and 8088 amps, both black and silver... and some matching tuners... I prefer the analog tuners, problem there is the ST-8044 tuners and similar, aren't the same width as the SU-8077/8088 so they look a bit out of place.

That is one of the more obscure units… not very typical design-wise, which is a faint indication that this unit was made under licence by a third-party manufacturer. Technics did this in a few selected markets for one or two pieces of their devices, mostly for budget receivers.
Speaking of receivers: this is what most people in the U.S. think about in a first instance. The truth is, however, that Technics sold receivers almost exclusively for export markets. If you search for them on the Japanese market, you won't find much at all.
