Yea, really disgusting & its a shame the honor system in just delivering the product is being abused.
Also, know of someone that was getting food from a pantry & the delivery person would take choice items out before arriving. Needless to say the officials at the panty did nothing.

Apparently it was the Golden Plated rule and the plating has worn slap out.

Lower calorie portions.

Portion control is important, especially in the mega-portions crazed West. These GH deliverymen are sacrificing their own health, why, possibly their very lives, to help bring Western portions under control.

Kudos, fellas (and ladies, as applicable).

So it should make us feel like royalty, having our own food tasters! Waiting for the day one of these fine folk sue someone when they get food poisoning.

"It's their fault, judge. I wouldn't have eaten it if they hadn't ordered it!"

A man walks into a bar and orders two beers. After drinking the first one, he has to make a trip to the men's room. He doesn't want to take the second beer with him, and he's afraid if he leaves it , someone else might drink it. He grabs a napkin, takes his pen, and writes "I spit in this beer", and puts it under the mug.

When he returns, someone has written below his message, "So did I."

Not as bad as the delivery service in NY that wasn't telling people they were subbing the Impossible Whopper (veggie) for the cow meat variety.

Well. As long as none of the drivers had Hepatitis. Then it's worse.

must be a city thang. round here if we want supper we generally gotta cook it ourselves. Hell.... Dominoes won't deliver out this far so I guess we're safe for the time being;-)

You must not have seen my posts on the ice cream licking and peeing on potatoes, both inside the grocery store.

Would you like the links?

Maybe it's just me but... who would order food, that you are going to EAT, to be delivered by people they didn't know? This is 2019.

I quit pizzas being delivered over 10 years ago. Actually I hardly ever even eat pizza anymore - 'pure fat' junk food.

Even totally quit eating in restaurants 16 years ago. Don't miss it at all. And I feel a lot better now.

I simply cannot stand the smartphone mentality. What meal that started out as mediocre at best would be remotely palatable after sitting in a container and a paper bag for 40 minutes? Burger and fries? Alfredo? Loaded potato skins? Nasty. A good order of fries has a shelf life of minutes. The burger lasts about a minute more. Who orders this crap and do they not realize quality of the product they are receiving is greatly diminished? If I ran a franchise restaurant, I would absolutely not participate. They are making already lousy food even worse. Long term their business will suffer. If I ran an "upscale" burger place it would by design NOT have a drive thru window. I think Five Guys is that way. A least the one I saw. You cannot take that stuff home.

Pizza delivery makes sense. That oven is crazy hot and the pie needs to rest anyway.

Not to mention that this is a very, very expensive way to eat.

Even buying take out and picking it up yourself leaves some food almost inedible. That's even when they don't spit in it or bury a booger or two when nobody's looking.

(Or for that matter, when everybody's looking and getting a good giggle on)

PS ... here's the first thing to look for when Uber Eats shows up ... here's a guy who apparently does a LOT of snacking.

Driver: (munch munch)
Passenger: Looks good!
Driver: Want some? They'll never miss it ...
