Great Carver and Adcom pics. Here's a couple of audio porn pics of my own. The Classe CA-200 and CA-300 both use a great many smaller power supply caps as opposed to the standard two huge caps of other manufacturers' designs.

my old adcom gfa - 2.

each channel has less than 4 mv offset - cold or warm - sounds great.

spec'd at 100wpc 20hz to 20 khz .02% thd both channels driven at same time into 8 ohms.

110wpc at 1khz into 8 ohms

100db snr

frequency response +/- 2db dc to 100 khz

2 - 4 amp 120 volt slow blow fuses.

I think adcom could have put it in a smaller box.

$ 67.00 shipped - ebay.

1 corner of the face plate was bent when I got it.

I wonder how a nude of a adcom gfa -1 would work ?
the adcom gfa -1 is built kinda strange.

I like the twin power supply's of my $67.00 adcom gfa 2 over the other guys adcom


that is a fisher ag7 space pen on top of one of the transformers.

it also has pretty good spec's for an old sucker.

it uses 4 output devices per channel - pretty good sized strange looking transistors - at least as big as a to3 device.
