Sony PS-4300 cueing fluid..?

Does anyone know which of these would be appropriate?

There's one specified as "ball diff" and one as "gear diff" but even the company's own website in Japanese doesn't seem to give a cst value. My PS4300 needs the damping treatment, and I can get this grease locally - well, without ordering from abroad. I'd assume that gear diff is the closest to what's been covered by commenters here. I was very glad to find this thread by the way, because the procedure looks a bit daunting from the service manual, but if it can be done by standing the player on its side, that's going to save a ton of trouble. Thanks for shedding some light on this ancient and not much discussed machine!

Try the 500,000 cst silicone oil.

Sorry to bump and old thread, but I could never get an answer on it either and I searched for days before CAREFULLY trying something on my own:

I laid the turntable on it's side, held up by the open dust cover and was able to let the tonearm assembly slide out with plenty of room to access the mechanism and unscrew the little hex screw. YMMV as I don't know how consistent they were when it comes to the length of the wires, and of course you want to be very gentle with it in the process. But it worked great for me, and now my TT is functioning perfect. Here's a pic so you can see what I mean:

Sorry to bump such an old thread...(again) But I am currently having the same issue with my PS-4300. This thread is helping me a bunch, but I can't seem to see the picture you have originally posted. Is it possible to repost the picture? If I try to lift the tonearm out of the table, it will only go out about 1/4inch. I can kinda see the hex screw. But I can't get it completely out.
