Speaker cap replacement?

I have a pair of Cerwin Vega 26's from my college days. They still work.

I was wondering if I should re-cap the crossover? Would it make any difference?
And what caps would be appropriate?

Perhaps you could unscrew the speaker terminal plate and with pen and paper in hand write down what you see: type of capacitors, capacitance and voltage rating, resistors if any. Then report your findings.
