Those are the utility Original Large Advents. Same sound as the walnut bulnose in less sexy of a cab.

Great Speaker. Err well I think they are great and others would probably agree. If they're a fair price grab them.

Make sure the surrounds check out ok before giving them any real volume. Great price for them, they appear to be in good shape. If you dont like them you can always send them to me so i have another set.:D

Or me. Except I'd probably snob out and want the bullnose :D

LOL they would match the utility cabinet pair i have now. I may go this weekend and possibly pick up another set. They are nla's though in utility cabinets.

Score - guy said he would hold for me. Said he recently had them refoamed. So fingers crossed, these babies will be mine by lunch time Wednesday....

They are now set up in my listening area. Have them connected to an Onkyo A-10 integrated amp which has A, B, and C speaker settings. Switching between large advents, JBL LX600, and customer pair of Peacetime Communications (company which was later acquired by JBL. Frankly, the Advents sound the dullest right now.

Was wondering if I should recap. Another question, speaker connections have an 8 oh and O....never seen that before. Does it matter how I attach the speaker wires? Running red to 8 oh now.
