Speakers with questionable "upgrades"... post your findings here.

Maybe that is the paper version of that speaker that used disposable aluminum pie pans as part of the woofer. Was the company Ezekial? I think they were around Washington DC. And despite peculiar design choice, apparently they sounded good to a lot of people.
 
I wonder how that Emit will fare against those P.A. drivers......assuming it works

If the Emit doesn't work, try tightening the screws that make electrical contact - they loosen and get corroded, and sometimes they are the problem, rather than the etched circuit being fried.
 
These are not my speakers...posted in a local ad.
Just making the observation of the p.a. drivers in the Infinity cabs and the ability of all playing well together and that woofer probably not making a good seal.
