Speakers you will NEVER sell.

Probably my LE14A EconoWaves because they sound great and look stunning in the custom cabs I made with rosewood veneer.

The La Scalas are on the sales floor....

I am listening to Laura Nyro's Angel in the Dark as I type this and it sounds as if she is in the room with me. Very surreal. If you guys haven't heard Laura on a good Hi-Fi setup I encourage you to at least get Angel in the Dark as it has some of her best songs on it that will really move you. It was the last thing she recorded before she died. Got the KA-9100 hooked up with the Bozaks and the Synergy is phenomenal. I hope his dad is smiling down on us from heaven.:tears:

I love the look of those Bozaks. :thmbsp: And I'll have to check out Laura.

Been doing some speaker rotation and SS/Tubes.

Right now my heart is with my Fisher tube amp and JBL L36 - recapped with some Russion military bypass caps added to tweeters.

I'm really impressed with th JBL's bass with tubes. I have the mids and hi's cranked down. Very rich and articulate. I didn't like them as much wit SS and almost sold them. Glad I didn't and now never will - at least for now :D

my UREI 813As will never sell

a) they are too big at 178 pds each
b) I don't feel like hauling them up a flight of stairs
c) with the right gear they sound great

Wow dividebytube those UREI 813A are truly drool worthy.

I am pretty sure I am hanging onto my JBL 4313bs and JBL C51 Apollos for a while.
And I suspect the only way I am getting rid of the Klipsch Herseys I just acquired is bigger Klipsche. I'd love to hear some JBL 4430s.

Used to think I had a few things I would never sell, but as I hone in more and more on what I want out of a system, I doubt anything is really off the table if I deemed it would be for the overall good of the sound I desire. Thing is trying to figure out what would actually be an upgrade as so many things I don't get a chance to hear before the purchase.

ATC SCM35. 3 way with the big beautiful in house dome midrange. I could walk into my house and hear their superior ways from the next room instantly.

Then sold them to pay my mortgage. F*#K!!!

Never gonna sell my AR 5's with Q1R tweeters

Here's my granddaughter helping me rebuild them

If the money is right there is no piece of equipment I wouldn't sell. I know. I've seen me do it. I'll just find a better piece and move on up the ladder.

my kappa 6.1's. they sound perfect for me and my tastes.
and they seem to be quite rare as i have not yet seen another set in use or for sale.
i see the 7.1's and 8.1's from time to time but not the 6.1's.

Infinity IRS-V's.

No wait, those just reside in my fertile imagination. :bat: :bat:

But that surely makes it impossible for me to sell them.

just about the time I think I would never sell a piece of gear I have, I end up deciding I am looking for something different. Doubt if i would ever sell my pair of HPM-150 , mainly because I am going the route of planars or electrostatics and always would always like a pair of box speakers around
