if you go for a walk in the woods, and are real lucky, maybe you can find a pair of these?

^ Venture a little further into the woods and I expect one might find the white van from whence they came...

On a more serious note, speaker recommendations are going to be all over the place; vintage, modern, highly efficient (or not), it will be difficult to pin down anything specific other than the pre-existing preferences of any who post. I will state the obvious and say that you are best to go with an 8 ohm system. (9090 DB will drive 4 ohm systems but is not really recommended) and capable of 100-150w power handling (at least).

Do you have a general type of speaker you are leaning towards; floor or bookshelf, new(ish) or old, agressive or laid-back? I'm well known to be fan of Sansui speakers from the late 60's to mid-late 70's but they are a divisive subject for their aural qualities versus modern sensibilities on "how a speaker should sound". Which is to say my suggestions would likely cause some minor controversy with many of the regular posters here. There are other Sansui speaker fans here, but we are in the minority, no doubt.

Understood. I'll defer to others here to offer speaker suggestions, as my knowledge of contemporary speaker systems, and bookshelf models specifically, is rather limited. Posting on here has been a little slow of late, give it a couple of days for some feedback yet.

agree, if you have the room, some old JBL's would go really well with it

L100, 4313 etc

or Klipsch Cornwalls, Hersays for smaller size

even smaller options you could try Kef, or Dynaudio, or Harbeth?
