The Split Enz "True Colours" album from 1980 was laser etched. It's very pretty when the light hits it just right.

ooh... the clear stuff is cool!

I have a couple clear ones. They cause trouble for my turntable's automatic cuing. The stupid laser doesn't recognize there being a Lp on the table, the arm just goes all the way to the center then returns to off. The clear red or blue vinyls, well they for some reason confuse the machine even further. It sees them a 7" records and drops the needle in the middle, go figure.
