Hey, Shacky, Krimney? Today's your lucky day. That site says that spindle will work for this humongous list of Duals:

Stacking spindles are bad for your records for 3 reasons:
1. The dust and dirt get trapped between the records in the stack and ground into your records, plus the records could move against each other and get scratched.
2. If you are using a stacking spindle it guarantees you are not going to be cleaning your records before playing them. That will destroy them.
3. When you stack records, the tone arm is now at a different angle with each record you add to the stack. This screws up the vertical tracking angle. The tonearm should be parallel to the record surface.
4. Ok, I thought of another one. If your records are stacked you are now playing the top record with no mat underneath to absorb the vibrations made as the record is played. Not to mention that now you can't put a record clamp or weight on the top.
If you want your records to sound like crap, well, go ahead and stack them. But if you want them to sound like music without alot of pops, ticks and distortion, then please do not stack them.

But wait, isn't that they way some were supposed to be played?
Remember when some (most??) double lps were set up for changer play with sides 1 & 4 on 1 lp and 2 & 3 on another so you let the sides drop and play in sequence?

ara: Um, I've been using my multiplay spindle on and off on my V-M console phono (1973), Garrard AT60(1975), my BIC 960(1977), and my Dual(1980) and since I do clean my records before I play 'em, I've never heard or seen any difference between single play and stacked. I honestly can't hear or see any damage to any of my vinyl at all due to stacking after 30+ years.
