Stk-0050/a

I was wondering if anybody tried the stk-0050 that are sold at mat electronics.I don't know if these are chinise knock off's or if they are good ones.I need 2.

They are ALL knock off's - of differing confidence levels.

and the stk-0050 versus the stk0050a is still a matter of some debate.

The circuitry is different, while some say if the a's extra pins are left open, it functions in the 0050 circuit.

FWIW. I got a bunch of STK-0050 from MAT a few years ago that worked fine.

I have no idea if they got lucky or know of quality source.
They were out of them after I ordered so where do they get them???
