Stoner Rock playlist

Also pretty much anything off Blues For The Red Sun by Kyuss.

A stoner will get high to the Bugs Bunny Road Runner show theme music

While this is true, we actually prefer the Hanna Barbera stuff

Brant Bjork's solo stuff is pretty great. Founding member of Kyuss. I love this album.

His album Jalamanta is fantastic. Pretty sure he’s in Stoner now too

But really, later I'll post some Robin Trower, maybe throw in some Budgie, followed up by The Monks or The Columbian Neckties.

Nice!!

[Boozehound]

I went back and searched and it appears no dedicated thread exists for this genre. It's not quite metal, not quite doom, not quite grunge, but all those adjectives fit these bands.

Three American bands are widely regarded as the forefathers of the scene, Kyuss, Monster Magnet, and Fu Manchu, but the Swedish and Norwegians produced lots of great stuff in late 90s, early 2000s.

One of the first QOTSA songs after Josh Homme left Kyuss

The Boozehound likes this thread.
I’m thinking it’s going to be big.!

Head Banger's lullaby. Totally.

A couple of years ago (or maybe 10 lol) I was into this album: "Fu Manchu - The Action is Go"

I didn't know they were considered Stoner Rock. I thought Stoner Rock had really slow tempos like what Sleep does.

Edit: ya I dont' get it. I also used to like this song but to me it sounded like Mudhoney, not some metal sub-genre
