Subsonic filter help

I got mine into a little $12 aluminum box from Amazon with the power supply board. 88x38x100mm per the ad. Unfortunately I somewhat neglected to consider depth of the RCA jacks so it got a little tighter than I wanted and I had to do some goofy stuff to make it fit, but it did go together. Just a word of warning from my own lack of planning.

for what its worth mine is supposed to be -3db at 18.5 but it measures -3db at 22hz and drops sharply from there. I honestly can't hear it when listening to music, but the sub doesn't do dumb things if I set the arm down without muting it so its doing something.

Good to hear. Did you get the power supply from the same vendor as the board you used? I still haven't decided on a 15v dual supply yet.

If you wanted to get fancy you could install a small switch to be able select between the 3 resistors/freq.responses. That flexibility will make the enclosure larger, but not much larger.

yep, used the P06 mini supply fed from a 16 vac wall wart. That board can be fed either from a 2 or 3 wire source so a wart is an option.
