sx-727 repair AWM-011 board adjustment procedure

My sx-727 a variable resistor VR1 but can find nothing on test points or what it should be set to. Any help at all with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

pin 5 red dmm
ground black dmm
adj vr1 to 0.000v

pin 11 red dmm
pin 13 black dmm
adj vr3 for 30mV



pin 6 red dmm
ground black dmm
adj vr2 to 0.000v

pin 14 red dmm
pin 12 black dmm
adj vr3 for 30mV

These I have already done, they are on the power amp board (AWH-011). What my question is about is the lone variable resistor on the protector unit board (AWM-011). Thanks Mark for the info on the power amp board though.

connect your voltmeter to TP1 and TP2, (between the collectors of Q3 & Q4),
adjust for 0.0v read (that will put both of them at the same voltage.)
This will equalize the two sides of that differential amp.

Later models dropped this adjustment as unneeded.
