I don't know about that. I fell asleep and missed it, but they were losing in the 4th quarter until Collins started tossing pics.
McCarthy's done a good job with the Packers this year and seems to have a real level head. If he can keep Brett from going nuts and stays with what got them to the playoffs, I think they'll do fine. Hopefully the three weeks off has Woodsons toe in game shape. Tauscher V Kearney should be an interesting matchup too.

I predict that we'll see the video of the Hasselbeck OT coin toss/interception from the last time at least 1 dozen times in the next week, more if the game goes into overtime. thank god for PVR's.

Agreed! I'm not seeing anything from SD against the Titans that makes me think they can play with the Colts. I know they beat them this year, but I don't see it happeneing again.
As for Jax, there is no way they can stay with the Patriots. Not enough offense in any way shape or form.
I don't know. they can play ball control and grind out yards and eat up the clock.
Brady can't score from the bench.
At any rate, all the games are big from here on out.

Jax will have to run the heck out of the ball, and I think they're capable of doing it. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots come out and throw the first 15 times, they've been known to do that. Successfully.
As I've said, I'm hoping for awful weather of some sort, snow, rain, wind, anything to slow the Patriots. Poor weather will help Jacksonville out big time in this game.
Otherwise I don't give them much of a chance.
Ever notice Brady NEVER gets hurt? I'd just like to see them have to play with the backup, don't even know his name because he never plays.

Here we are two days away from more games, update required.
Unfortunately, no bad weather expected Sat night in Boston, partly cloudy 30 degrees, not good.
Who I want to win: Jags, Hawks, Colts, Giants.
Who will win:
I think Jacksonville will keep it close because of their discipline (fewest penalties in the NFL) and stout running game, but I just don't see them being far enough ahead halfway through the 4th quarter to win. The invevitable NE comeback syndrome. Pats 31, Jags 17
The Seahawks looked good against the 'Skins, especially their defense. If the D can repeat that effort, this GB game will be closer than expected. I see the Pack taking a pretty close one, 27-23.
The Colts have too much of almost everything, including home field, to falter against the Bolts, though it will be close during the first half. Indy, 28-20.
Lastly, the Giants at Dallas. Expect multiple shots of Jessica crying. In which case, let's hope she's wearing a halter top. Airhead, but nice eye candy. But I digress. Unless T.O. plays, and well, the Giants can easily upset the Cowboys. The Giants were possibly the most impressive team last weekend. I'd love to see Romo going down time after time, lots of a scantily clad Jessica, and the Giants ramming the ball down the collective throats of the Cowboys. G-Men 27, 'Boys 19.

Even bad weather wouldn't/couldn't stop New England.
The Colts are the 2nd best team in football.
I just can't bet against Favre and the Pack. Seattle just isn't that good.
The Giants are due to implode - they have played 3 straight excellent games!

I think the first 2 are alot easier to pick. I read that the Seahawks have never won a post-season game on the road, there's always a first. Their defense is all about speed and closing distance (watch how quick Kearney, Tatupu, and Julian Peterson close the distance on Favre - if they get some daylight) which might be hard to establish on cold crappy turf, and they'll have alot of trouble staying in the game if they start out with a bunch of 3 and outs. I hope Hasselbeck does his talking with his arm this time, and Deion Branch is back this week. Weather looks "ok" now and if conditions are favorable at game time I give Seattle the edge - 4 points. All in all should be a great game and what a great opponent for Holmgren to go against in what might be his final game. Finally I'm going with NY over Dallas. Just a guess, and I like Eli Manning over Romo at the QB position from what little I've seen of each. An NY win would be great for Seattle if NY wins because, if they survive GB, they'd return to home field, Quest stadium for an NY matchup.

So far so good for my Colts....... Marvin is back and Payton has an axe to grind after that earlier game against the Bolts. Rivers will press and throw some picks that we will convert in to points.

Ok, 2 down and 2 more today! Yesterday's games were sure fun to watch. The Packers looked real good, especially after spotting Seattle 14 points. Tough to bet against them right now.
The Patriots/Jax game was almost exactly as I expected. I thought Jax didn't have enough offense to beat NE, and 20 points just won't do it. They did move the ball rather easily, but that's also how the Patriots played all year. Their D bent but didn't break and they came up with key take aways! And as long as teams put 2/3 guys on Moss all night, Brady will absolutely pick them apart (90+% completions) at 7-10 yds per toss! And, their running game has resurfaced, especially when a team is afraid to blitz and drops back into a "nothing deep" pass defense.
Today? I'm still sticking with the Colts and Boys. Although a Giants upset wouldn't shock me!

Well, I'm really liking what I saw from the Pack yesterday. After spotting the Seahawks, 14 points in 4 minutes, they outscored them 42-6 for the rest of the game and really clicked. McCarthy really has these guys humming and I think they could go all the way. He stuck to his plan, stuck with his guy Grant and it all came together. I also love the attitude this team has and the way the guys play together. A lot of teams would have caved after giving up 14.
I'm really split on the next opponent as I'd love to see a NFC Championship game in Lambeau (again), but I'd like to see they beat the Cowboys in Texas stadium too, and I'm pretty sure they can do it. As far as matching up with the Patriots, if they get to the SB, I think it would be real interesting. GB has a darn good defense and has scored 30+ points in 10 of 17 games and in 8 of 11 since the break, so I think they can hang with the Pat's well.

To beat them, I think you need to blitz like mad, as everyone seems to be scared to do, and rough him up. Despite the risk.
