Packers will surely be the underdog.

I'll take the Packers and the spread. It'll be a good game. Closer than y'all think.
 
Well the only really bad thing about NE going undefeated is that their fans will wear it it out for the next 30 years like the Dolphins have. 20 years from now when watching the next great "team of the century" trying to go undefeated we will have to sit through the obligatory interview with a Pat player on this team and a crowd shot from some bar in Boston.....

I was at least hoping as a Colt fan that we could play them again when we were healthy but when Freeney went down that was not going to happen. As it turned out though we laid down like dogs against SD, I think because we read the press and the point spread and just assumed SD had too and would roll-over. We will be alright for another couple of years and may even get another trophy with a break here or there before salary cap and other issues associated with today's NFL break up the nucleus of the team.

I think you have to hand it to NE that their coach and their players as a group are stronger mentally and have more team leaders than the Colts or really any other team out there. Despite all of their recent success in the past 5 years they still come out looking like they have something to prove and don't seem to take anything for granted.

The Cold killed Favre. Big difference between being in your mid 20's, and almost 40. Great guy, wish him the best, but doesn't he always throw these dumb interceptions. I think he has achieved everything possible, and it might be time to move on. Hope he doesn't stay to long and start to like like Unitas, or Marino when they retired. Again, I wish him the best.
 
What a goofy game with lots of turnovers and unexpected stuff. I guess that's what happens in that cold when the ball becomes as hard as a piece of concrete. Fun to watch but I would have suffered greatly sitting through the ups and downs of this one as either a NY or GB fan. Not too mention I was freezing just watching that insanely cold weather from my sofa.

Yeah, they didn't move the ball on the ground, so I understand passing on third down especially with the incredible protection Favre had again all game, it was 3rd down right?, but was wondering why they'd go to the outside rather than safer short stuff in the middle of the field? It's all about ball possession in sudden death overtime. Manning (and Plaxico Burris) looked good.
 
Well, congrats to the Patriots, going to the Super Bowl 18-0 is nothing short of amazing. :beerchug: :ntwrthy: :beerchug: Yeah, I imagine we'll be hearing about it for quite awhile, and get a little tired of it, but this is a case of it really WAS something special, wether they win the SB or not. :thmbsp:
