According to recently discovered Biblical manuscripts, the first tree that Adam planted was a fig tree. Early man used the fig leaves to cover their private parts so they would not be censored.
 
Yes, Adam was a major figure in the Old Testament. I believe that biblical scholars have determined that his last name was Ant and he had a hit or two and a decently successful career.
 
The first top 40 list was found carved in stone next to the Ten Commandments. It showed Adam's hit, "Fear the Snake" was on the charts for over 1,000 years.
 
The Top 40 list was actually the top 50 but when Billboard Magazine printed them up with all the album descriptions, only 40 made it to the first page. Most people didn't really care about the last 10 anyway so they eventually dropped 41-50, and inserted additional record and stereo ads.
 
The Last 10 in the Top 50 Chart for this week would always be the Top 10 in next weeks chart.
 
The"Top 50 Chart" actually started as "Charred Hits". They were called charred hits because they were the hottest new music and spread like wildfire on the radio and in record stores. Some hearing impaired DJ thought they were saying Charted records and soon it morphed into the current form.
