The Name That Album thread

I happen to have one from yesterday that was an alternate, but ended up choosing Gong. Never said it was tough, but let's see who knows :scratch2:

Artist and Title have been smudged from the bottom right of the face.

Edit: Sorry, just read the part about "haven't posted before" and "good one." Anyone is welcome to override mine! :)

Huh. I have an album titled "Black Magic" (The Softones - Black Magic, 1977) and a couple of albums by the band Blue Magic, but nothing on ATCO by a band called Black Magic. I'll have to hear this one.

Michael Bolton ~ Greatest Hits (1985–1995)

My wife's a member of his fan club. You can see the back of my head in his "Live by Request" special on A&E, must have been a decade or so back. Sat near Mark McEwen, who announced the special, and talked with him during the commercial breaks.

Great work 33 1/3! I thought I was going to have to give lots of hints on this one.

The brains behind the band apparently comprised the rhythm section for Sonny and Cher just prior to branching out on their own. Pretty obscure, but I believe they have a self titled release which may predate this one although info is rather scarce.

Removed the artist and album title from the black bars at top and bottom.
