Yes the table is a Sota Saphire series I. Dates from 1986. I talked to the good folks over at Sota about the table and they were kind enough to provide me with the information. This particular TT was owned by a "high end" Audio dealer. I plan on mounting my Benz Silver Cart on it and letting it sing. I have heard they are not the easiest to set up the first time but keeping Sotas setup is not a problem. I searched for a couple of weeks before I found this one hiding in a shop on the other side of the world ( west coast ) It came down to this one or one thats sitting all lonely up in canada with an RB300 on it. I prefer the Rosewood Finish on the one I bought to the standard Oak on the canadian one. I wish I could have afforded a nice RB600 or better arm but funds just aint allowing it. The Relex clamp would be a nice added touch for this table but at 207.00 its gonna have to wait till one pops up on Ebay. (just missed one) Bully I was going to get the MMT arm but passed on it. I can pass along the info to you on where to get it for about 50 bucks cheaper then you can get one on Ebay. I spent way to much on this one already.... I would like to hear from Richm who has the same tt. If you read this drop me an Email please. And to Proac NO its not for sale
