Jasper Wrath..........hailing from Connecticut and released their debut album in 1971. An intriguing psych/prog crossover item that should appeal to those who enjoy the genre

Ethos - Open Up........excellent 70’s Ft. Wayne based 4 piece prog rock band whose second album “Open Up” remains a landmark album in that genre
Pavlov's Dog - Pampered Menial...........from St. Louis they are on many 70's US prog band lists so I hadda have it but just play on these occasions - it's hard for me to get through 'cause the singer sounds like Geddy Lee on helium. There is some really good groove on here but it's hard for me to get to the second side

Todd Rundgren's Utopia........when I think of Rundgren, the last thing to enter my mind is progressive rock - well ol' Todd stopped everything he was doing and dropped this masterpiece on us in '74
Mirthrandir - For You the Old Women........New Jersey band dropped this complex symphonic-leaning prog album in '76
more 70's US prog
Cathedral - Stained Glass Stories..........classic prog rock band out of New York, only released one album in 1978, lotsa mellotron and Rickenbacker bass
Pentwater..........'77 release from this US Midwest (Chicago) progressive band
Happy the Man - Crafty Hands.........'78 release from this band from Washington DC, by way of Fort Wayne
Starcastle.......sure, they were a derivative Yes clone but this album features first class musicianship and great vocal harmonies. A fun spin and one no 70's US prog line-up should be without.
Kansas - Masque..........back to American 70's prog
Netherworld -In the Following Half-Light ..........lotsa mellotron on this Silicone Valley duo's album
