Kansas - Leftoverture.........and the start to more 70's prog from the good ol' US of A
Babylon.....another one and done, this Tampa Bay area band released an interesting symphonic prog album in '78
Easter Island - Now And Then...........quite exceptional U.S. progressive rock on this '79, nice use of mellotron and other vintage keys
Shadowfax - Watercourse Way..........Shadowfax are best-known for their New Age label Windham Hill. The 1976 Watercourse Way is a great slab of dynamic mid-'70s American prog
Atlantis Philharmonic.........in '74 this Midwest duo recorded a massive prog album, another one and done from the US prog rock world
Starcastle - Fountains of Light.........pity that Starcastle carry the Yes clone stigma as many progheads may miss out on the joy of the music itself on this '77 release by the Illinois band
Tony Levin Band ~ Double Espresso
Narada 2 x cd, 2002
Narada 2 x cd, 2002
Màelstrom - On The Gulf.......add this '73 release by the Florida band to the list of obscure US prog outfits who never got anywhere, despite being rather good
Fireballet - Night On Bald Mountain........'75 release from this New Jersey band, close to symphonic progressive rock with of course british influences
least favorite Kansas in my collection, just finishing up listening to all my 70's American prog LPs

Lift - Caverns Of Your Brain.......formed early 70's in New Orleansand like most American prog rock LPs from the time, their sole album is heavily influenced by Yes and Genesis. Keyboard-forward stuff that's packed with Mellotron, Hammond and synths
ID - Where Are We Going......... hard-edged psych/prog rock with excellent guitar solos and use of mellotron that gives spacey effects from this Maryland based band, recorded in 1975 and released in 1977
Polyphony - Without Introduction...........'72 release by this one and done band from Virginia Beach, make no doubt the ELP influence is rather obvious

'75 debut from this LA band, a mix of progressive rock, art rock, and symphonic pop - all combined into a fine listen
