Dang Bob, your memory for these old gems is far better than mine. I'm thinking of digging out old LP "trader" lists (I still have a few stashed away) to look up band names.

The really pathetic part of it is that i have @ my LP collection most of the artists you've listed I still cannot recall them. I got lucky w/ the Simon Finn recollection.
I couldn't afford the vinyl of many of these groups when I got back into psych/ folk psych a few years ago, so I went with CDs. I spent many hours researching online listening to cuts. Much of that work stuck in my mind (a refreshing change from my norm). I'm really enjoying listening to them all again.
