Tone arm re-wire

Is 28 awg wire too thick or firm for a tonearm re-wire? I see most require a 34 awg wire. Thanks!

28g might also be a bit stiff, like a strand of cat 5.

you may want to consider getting the tone arm wire from KAB. Only drawback is you'll need a solder pot to tin it correctly.

I bought some MIL spec. 32 gauge silver plated copper wire. I'm going to see how that works out. I'm not rewiring any high end turntables. Right now, I'm working on a Garrard Lab 80 and a Dual 1019. This wire should be at least as good as what they both already have. Also, if that works out, I have several other tables to rewire after them.
