toshiba speakers

at my local thrift shop is a pair of toshiba ss-507w speakers, they are 2 way imaculate cosmetically and cheap, anyone heard of these

I'd grab them and then tell us how they sound. Cursory google searches show nothing, as does a look at audio heritage.

yes i couldnt find anything but did an image search which led me to someone that said there was some onkyo speakers that toshiba had put the name on wish i had taken a picture

Very well could be a re-badge. Most of those are more rare than the originals. If they're cheap ............. grab 'em.

Hopefully they aren't some HT crap. A good 2 way is generally a good sounding speaker.
