Tri-State Altec 19 owners?

Do you have any idea how it will look like with a pair of A7's, A8's and Peavey's strapped to the top of my 1800 driving across the country for your shoot-out? Just which tri-states are you talking about? :)

Volvo if you take all that ill take my modded vert Cornwalls and soon to have 551's and if needed 500c lol.

Which is something I may regret saying since I have to pick the damn things up over my head to move them :-(

OK,
I have confirmations or near confirmations from the following:
Altec Best
Almost There
Hornertuber
frperdurabo

I can accommodate more people, so feel free to add yourself.

I think everybody seems to be good with Sat mid afternoon. So let's say 2 or 3pm and we'll narrow it from there.

If you are driving, parking will be on campus in a secure parking garage. Do not park on the street as you'll get booted.

I assume you'll want to bring some music. CD format would be best.

During the week I will PM specific directions. I am looking forward to meeting you all. Much thanks to Hornertuber.

PS, VolvoHeretic, you're still invited. : )

Sounds excellent, I'm well acquainted with that area and hearing about garage parking just made me sigh with relief lol.

I can burn a cd if need be but I thought I'd ask anyway. Is there any inputs available? My phone plays 24/96 FLAC's, when we 1st spoke I was unsure but I have been doing some experimenting :-).

I'm really excited for this meet and hear. Thank you Skywave very much for hosting. I'll go next for anyone inclined :D

Cool.
Worse comes to worse, we'll take the analog out of your player. Just let me know what that is (I'm assuming 1/8" TRS,) and I'll rig adapters.

Its 1/8 TRS, I can adapt to really anything from another 1/8 to xlr etc... I just don't know to what lol. Unless you have everything right at hand and its no trouble that is, otherwise I can bring. Also if your going to be setting up/moving stuff let me know I'll come a little early and help you out.

The only reason I am being a PITA is I actually havent used or burnt a cd in a long time, maybe 8ish years. Just about 100% solid state drive at this point with any travel media lol. I have some nice hd stuff to test though, think would be handy like hell freezes over, bitches brew, various classical, pink floyd yada yada yada. Just hd audio I like to use for testing and evaluating my own stuff.

Is anyone driving from the Bergen County area? I'll throw in gas and parking $ ... getting there on public trans will be kind of a bear. (Train to Hoboken, Path to Journal Square, then bus, I'm assuming)

PM me. (Oh, and also - yes, I'm coming, no matter how I have to get there :D )

It would be easier for you to bus right to PA then to the location actually frperdurabo

The weehawken light rail station is 2min from my place if you want to meet there and drive in with my wife and I.

There is going to be no Vinyl ? Has to be some vinyl ! After all it is the best source available ! I can bring my turntable, some MFSL vinyl, laptop and M-Audio Fast track pro soundcard for FLAC files. It has RCA,XLR,and 1/4" inputs if this would also help.Skywave if you already have this or similar then no need to bring duplicates.
