When you all get a chance, you must check out the Eminent Technology TRW-17 sub. This is more of a technological wonder than an artistic one, but interesting for what it claims it can do, and how it looks (think plane propeller). Magico Model 6 (More Metal :-)

Here is another one of the very cool Magico line...the Model 6. This is one cool black beauty. It would fit in the 2001 A Space Odyssey movie. It is made from a a 6061 T-6 aluminum structure :D

I started this thread to gather, to the greatest extent possible, a list of every unique and interesting speaker known by our AudioKarma community. I found a few lists here and there, and I was amazed by the incredible designs that I came across, I realized that a lot of companies (and brands and designs) have come and gone, so now perhaps we can all share our findings between us, to know what is and was available.

All eras of of interest to me. Perhaps you might show us all of your speakers a little at a time to help keep this thread fresh (that is what I am doing)? Any info on them makes for great reading. Thx.

More metal...SONICWELD SPEAKERS

The active "Pulserod" tower and "Subpulse" sub are made from CNC-machined solid aluminum :D The tower houses 13 drivers, and the sub a single 15" driver. Interesting design and tech, you can read about them at...

Still More Metal...TECHNICS SB-F40

I recently came across the Technics SB-F40 on some vintage Technics websites. These are very cool, all metal, bookshelf type, extended high freqency studio monitors as near as I can tell. One thread explained them as Technics answer to the (in)famous NS-10s, with high frequency extension to an ear splitting 35kHz.
