value of dq 10 speakers

[jeanmarie]

Is 300.00 a fair price for a pair of dhalquist 10 speakers in excellent to near mint restored condition? thanks in advance.

That's more than fair. Make sure the woofer surrounds are good, I got $450 for mine that were in exceptional condition, mirror imaged, woofer surround redone and completely recapped.

yes

If they've been restored (new surrounds, maybe crossover work?) that is an excellent price.

DQ 10 are underpriced considering the performance they offer. $300 is money well spent

[EastPoint]

It depends if they've been recapped or not. I sold mine at $300 with stands. They were refoamed and had the yellow caps and were mirrored, and were in nice condition. They sold at $300 and it took a while.

I think it's spot on real world pricing. Not a steal but a very fair price. DQ-10s are a great value and sound fantastic, especially with a good sub or two. Or three.
