Nice turn table, not comfortable with the tone arm though! :scratch2:

That is exactly what held me back..based on some reading last night. If I did not have a decent table already I would of jumped on it..there were no bad reviews of it, manual and box too. Just no room for anything other than an upgrade.
I missed out on a Sota Sapphire for 400 a few weeks back..pretty sure I saw it relisted at 1300 by the new owner..would of loved to own that one.

Did anybody here get the Harman Kardon A-402 listed (very briefly) on the weekend? It was at the decent price of $100 and looked (from the pictures) to be in nice shape.

Just responded to $5o ad on CL for Dual 1229.. had phone call from seller, went to bank, had his address.. omw there... and I get the text.. sorry but I need to double the price... "it is still a great price, hope you don't mind.."

another one bites the dust..

anyway dude is on lennox in N.Van..

if you see a posting by him in the future be aware of the b.s. factor.

ad is back up.. same table for $100.. not bad deal.. I am just off for this one now.. might be $200 before you arrive.

I ended up getting the lucky email for the D12's. Picked up this morning. Purchased from brother of original owner. Been in storage last 20years. Wife didn't like them, they had to go. Sound great (even on the little garage boombox he had hooked up). One grill needs rework. Also came with original stands. Contemplating refinishing and making new grills..love the pics with the blue grills...

I'm glad someone from AK was able to nab these speakers. I got an email from them stating they were sold today after you picked them up. Congrats!

What stands did they come with? The chrome ones?

Knew it must have been one of us -- I got the "sorry" email too. Tell us how they sound, I've always been curious.
