Vinyl In boston

...In Your Ear on Comm Ave in Brighton

The latter is a GREAT used shop with a ton of great rock and roll vinyl...I got turned onto Stray there and picked up a whole bunch of other great records

(In the intereste of full disk-closure though, that was 3 years ago. Time flies!)

This in your ear is technically in boston, I think. Allston is at Packard corner, Brighton split by Harvard Ave.

I lived there, but could be wrong.

They took the biggie sign down but the shop is still there.

Isn't there another store on Newbury down a little bit from Newbury Comics? Its underground, near Condom World if I remember correctly.

Is nuggets the store on the corner of Boylston and Mass Ave, near the hot dog place?

I've not been to Nuggets for a while, but it's either close to Kenmore Square or Berkely. There's another not too far but I can't recall the name.

^^It's at Kenmore square. I went to try to find Looney tunes-didn't so I got lost etc etc and actually drove by it (nuggets) today and grabbed some pretty decent stuff.

I was going to take the T, but I decided to take my car so I spent quite some time looking for a parking spot.

Edit:FYI Yahoo map sucks.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the CD Spins store. It was really close to NC, downstairs from the sidewalk. I was in there last fall during their closing-shop sale, so they're gone. I don't know what's there now.

Considering how into vinyl I am now, it kind of saddens me that I missed a store like that so recently. It's sad so many record stores have close doors. Especially per the previous threads. Its too bad I am too young to have been alive in the glory days.
