Welcome - New Moderator

hehehe.. I love it.. the guy with the Mickey Mouse record player modding the forum with the most expensive parts.. :D

Enjoy your punishment.. :D

Mike ..Tell us about yourself...regards

Remember you asked for it. Sounds like a segue into an old TV show.

I saved for a year and bought my first Mac in 1971 and have been a Mac fan since then. It was a C-26 & MC-2505 which I still have and the MC-2505 plays daily driving a pair of outdoor speakers.

I've been around AK for a while and watched many come and go. I have a Mac setup and if interested pictures are in the Members Forum. As for the Mickey Mouse TT in my avatar it's a reminder to me to try and keep my ego in check. Because it's my belief that if I park my ego at the door when I come here I will be a better participant and not just another I, Me, Me, I person.

I am not a very serious person by nature so that concludes the hooray for me portion of this introduction. I would like to see this forum continue with little or no drama. Kind of following old nearly forgotten Golden Rule. :)

I'm not a technician, just a knob twister who lives for music.

P.S. Yes Nick I remember you and am glad the machine is still working. I know it's in good hands.

So I want to sell my preamp, would anybody give me about $500 obo. I bought it from a Goodwill that I hate and charges too much. And let's talk about expensive speaker cables only fools would buy...

Lessee, about 3 yrs. worth of ban there??:D:D

Welcome, and may your wisdom and justice prevail!

PM sent. :D

Geeze, some of you guys make it sound like this is the beginning of the end for McIntosh.

It isn't, is it?

On a slightly more serious note, congratulations Mike! :thmbsp: The fine folks that hang out here shouldn't be too much trouble. At least if they get rowdy they will be in good hands. :D

Congratulations, and welcome aboard, Mr. Gibson

Backup? Mike has LOTS of backup, and he needs none of it. The McIntosh Audio forum is in new, but capable hands.
