Wharfedale Super 60's .... I found not one, but two pairs in a local thrift store. I bought the best looking pair for less than 20 bucks. What is this thing that I have? The only info that I have found is here...

Wharfedales are pretty well regarded around here that link I posted in post # 7 will take you previous threads on those speakers. I haven't read them so here's hoping there's some good feed back in them.

I actually bought an Elac 50h turntable with a pair of the Wharfedale Super 60 speakers for $100.00. the TT is beautiful and the speakers are in great condition and sound great. Just wondering if anyone had heard the Super 60's as there is not much info out there

Looks like @60 Cycle Hum and @VintagePlus had a pair of Super 60's, maybe they can share their experiences with them.

If you go into "Search" (upper right corner) of AK screen, and make use of that option, with "Wharfedale Super 60 speakers" you can DL a dozen or more past discussions/evaluations on this British gear (now being made by Chinese companies)...with the newer Wharfe series.

I knew that. Just thought the OP would be interested in the article since the Super is based on the W60. The AK thread that I attached provides more info on the Super 60.^ Nice gesture however and I could be wrong but the W60 and the Super 60 are different models
