Wharfedale 60 Speakers with a Solid State Receiver?

I know the Wharfedale 60 speakers sound best with tube amps, but what about with a Pioneer SX-850 or Sansui G5700?

Wharfedales sometimes run low impedance, 6ohms or so. Not sure if these do as well, but I would make sure whatever I use is comfy with a 4 ohm load.

Beyond that, test it out and see what sounds better to you in your space.

I used to have a pair hooked up to a Pioneer SX-770, Sansui 331 and McIntosh MA5100...sounded great with all three...as good as they could in my garage set-up.
