Not much detail on this CL post, but wondering if these speakers are worth a look:

Yes worth a look, and a listen. If you like the sound get em'. The price is at the mid-high end if they are w70's.

Thanks. They do look like W70's. There's a bit of info here on AK on these speakers. Man, they'd look nice in my mid centry living room.

They are very nice sounding, mellow speakers. Probably need new caps. I would offer $100 and see where it goes. Good luck.

I paid $60 for them. Untested, but the seller said they work and also said a "collector" came by earlier and tested them, took the backs off and gave them a good look. He didn't buy them because he already had a pair.

Will listen tonight. Fingers crossed.

Hope it's worth the tear in my car upholstery. :-(

First play a bit scratchy. Then with adjustment put turned all the way CW very full sound. Bass is a bit floppy. M

Completely different from my Sound Dynamics 300Ti.

I'm calling this a win AND a project. Double win!

Clean the pots on the back with deoxit. That should help with the scratchyness.
