These are for sale in the local paper. I'm thinking Jamo, but don't they usually print out their logo in a huge font? Anyone recognize? The woofer is said to be 10".

Cheers.

It sure looks like Jamo, only the woofer does not fit that bill. It could be a replacement woofer though, while the jano woofers are infamous for their surrounds, which tend to rot away. Jamo did make speakers under the name Svenska, but they also had their name big on the front.

I don't know if they have "white vans" in Finland but those have all the traits, the use of "AR" in the model number mimicking Acoustic Research, white woofer cone mimicking JBL monitors, and the best, lenses over cone mid and tweet mimicking JBL, again. I would bet that if you picked them up, they would weigh just a couple of kilos, very light. All of the above point to a less than stellar speaker.

They are Acoustocles Research and Development speakers. Built under by the strict standards set forth by the Acoustocles Method. Sorry, I'm no help...

I E-mailed the seller, and he doesn't seem to know much. He says that all that is printed on the baffle is "AS-310" and "Made in Denmark", as well as some numbers and the frequency response thing. I asked for some better pictures.

Ring any bells?
