Yes, do tell what speakers are in use that hopefully out perform the Snell's.
Some choices are tuffer to make than others, hopefully you made the right one! The gas and time spent to grab them was probably a deterring factor also?

It was. 3.5 hrs one way. I built my speakers out of old Barsila cabs for the Lamda X15 with massive bracing in the cab. The mid range horn is a tractrix designed to go down to 350hz and has a JBL 2441 compression drive with Radian diaphragms. The high end are the big a&& Heil AMTs.
