The tweeters appear to be EV T-35 or OEM versions thereof (Speakerlab or Klipsch, e.g.). Cannot tell much about the MR or the woofer.

those are damn interesting. my cousin has a pair of scoobers that look sort of like that. they were for use with a dyi organ set-up back in the 50's. they were actually sold in kit form with all ev drivers. he showed me the paper work, it all can from buchanan mich. my bet some sort of ev.

my cousins are 3 ways with a ev-t35, 15" woof (but square mag) and 8" midrange. not so sure of the tube, i have not seen the backs off

The enclosure and the other drivers are giving me a Utah/Allied (Knight brand) vibe. Utah wouldn't have used a T-35, but Allied sometimes did.

That picture is pretty small, but I think you might be right. If so, all the more reason to pursue the beasts....

I would guess the T35 tweet and a Knight midrange, maybe a Knight or a Jensen 15" woofer. They merit serious consideration.

I was going to go get these after talking to him on the phone. I was to call him back and let him know when I would be there and get directions. He said he would take $300.

After that, he would not answer phone calls or emails. Since then I saw he relisted them on CL for $800. He could have just told me he raised the price. Anyway, glad I didn't drive all the way there.
