my guess is shorthorns and yes they worth running for right now for 50.00.
are they in the boston area/ maybe i can pick them up for you:angel: LOL.

These are primeval Cornwalls - with the "TV" fronts. There'll be a narrow slot in the back. Shorthorns have a tapered cabinet so they can fit into the corner - the top looks like a home plate. Fifty dollars - you bet. Of course, alligators have been known to live in old Cornwalls and leap out at new owners, so perhaps it would be best to ship them to me in St. Louis.

yeah if they are the boston area id like to pick them up NOW! PM me if you decide to pass and they are in the boston area please.

Great score!!! please post your impressions of them after listening for a couple days.:music:

I picked them up this morning. They are much larger than what I imagined. They are about thirty years old and have a narrow slot in the back. They are an early version Cornwall. The drivers are Klipsch but the cabinets were built by a UT engineering professor. They are in excellent condition. I was the second person out of 36 in line. I assume they are worth more than $50.

Hi KR, not knowing what Klipsch you might own, if you want to ever hear some LaScalas, JubeScalas or the Jubilees, let me know. I work in Knoxville but live in Greenback (between Maryville & Lenoir City) I've met a handful of local Klipsch guys. Looking into having some kind of Knoxville area get together in spring/summer for anyone that might care to attend. considering doing something outdoors since I have a field next to me. Not too many neighbors and can let things rip outdoors if someone wants to.
