Wow I think I found La Scalas...

Please tell me I am wrong. They are on craigslist as "Klipsch Speakers". I don't need these, but the guy is asking $300 and I know I can get it lower. He knows nothing about them. Any help? Are these actually La Scalas?

The middle small ones are definetly la scalas (not really that small though) $300 is a steal!

I know I really want them!!! Is it a stupid idea to refinish these if they are all beat up? From that pic I am kind of worried. But if I sand them down right should it be ok?

Aw, c'mon, just grab it all. I just got back from a speaker run and came home with speakers, a reel to reel, and two receivers. You can do it! It's expected of you from the CL junkies.

They look like they might have casters on the bottom, so you could even use them as the CART for all that other stuff.

They look pretty clean. I'd use a whole bottle of Howard's feed n' wax on them just because it smells so good and I really want a pair of LaScalas. One of the coolest looking speakers of all time.

Tomorrow may be too late. Speakers like these don't hang out long. Especially at that price.

I would take them all myself. Lots of good stuff in that picture.

Recommendation:

Call the seller back and get an address, a truck, a couple of friends and make an appointment for ASAP tonight. Tell him it won't take more than a half hour tops once you get there to make a decision and pay him, cash in hand. Be sure to bring enough money to get everything if you possibly can and your friends can help you move and lift quickly.

good luck, snooze = lose and you must beat out the other guy.
