You know to cut your losses when the 1st thing of the day you do fails when you have a dead car battery. Not complaining too much considering I got 7 years out of it. Just the timing isn't ideal. So be it.
On a positive note, ripped this to digital format this afternoon. 50 years ago tomorrow this concert was played. Vinyl bootleg I've owned for years. Excellent SQ. Same show as the Utube vid.

'Surfer Rosa' by The Pixies. Excellent SACD of their debut. Love this band!
Surfer Rosa is the debut studio album by the American alternative rock band Pixies, released in March 1988 on the British label 4AD. It was produced by Steve Albini. Surfer Rosa contains many of the elements of Pixies' earlier output, including Spanish lyrics and references to Puerto Rico. It includes references to mutilation and voyeurism alongside experimental recording techniques and a distinctive drum sound.
As 4AD was an independent label, distribution in the United States was handled by British label Rough Trade Records; however, it failed to chart in either country. Only one single was released, a rerecorded version of "Gigantic", and reached number 93 on the UK Singles Chart. Surfer Rosa was rereleased in the US by Elektra Records in 1992, and in 2005 was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Surfer Rosa is often included on critics' lists of the best rock albums. Alternative rock artists including Billy Corgan and PJ Harvey have cited it as an inspiration; it was an influence on Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind, and the band hired Albini to record their 1993 album In Utero.

We went to a drive up santa thing today that my neighbor who is like a grandma to the boys set up
My youngest who is 9 was asked if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap he was like no way covid. Which i thought was funny. He has not believed in years and wanted nothing to do with That santa except get his stocking and get out of there.

'B.R.M.C. by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Another killer debut. Fantastic record , one of my faves from 2001! (Wow, it will be twenty next year). I'm not the only thing getting old.
B.R.M.C.is the debut studio album by American rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, released on Virgin Records on April 3, 2001.
"Spread Your Love" was used in 2003 Vin Diesel film A Man Apart and features in the TV show Skins. It has also been used in a series of commercials for Ketel One vodka as well as The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas. The NME rated the song as the 27th best song of 2002.
