Yeah, I'm waiting for mine in the old truck to die. It's 10 or 11 years old. Interstate battery. Batteries are so expensive anymore. I've got a 1 farad cap tied to it for the sub amp and it helps. Brings up the CCA when measured. People say that caps don't work. I don't know, they work for me.Evening fellow AKer's!
You know to cut your losses when the 1st thing of the day you do fails when you have a dead car battery. Not complaining too much considering I got 7 years out of it. Just the timing isn't ideal. So be it.
On a positive note, ripped this to digital format this afternoon. 50 years ago tomorrow this concert was played. Vinyl bootleg I've owned for years. Excellent SQ. Same show as the Utube vid.

That was the way I felt. Total genius right through the Berlin years and then kind of meh for me in the 80's. Have all the later albums but I find i enjoy them in lesser amounts

That's a great BOC album. I had it on 8Track but never got around to buying it on vinyl. Searching For Celine followed by Fireworks is just classic.

I wish I could have a space where I could crank to the max again. Funny I can do it in the SUV with a fantastic audio system but i get tired of it after about 20 minutes. Am I officially an old codger at 64?
Ya, about the same. Was a karma moment. Neighbour took their minivan over to the garage yesterday. Battery. I joked with the wife this morning that mine was probably due being the original battery....That's been the magic number for me several times over the years ,7 is the max I have ever got from a battery ...
DOH! Teach me to shut my mouth. Granted better in my driveway than say at work, 50kms from home.

The original Toyota battery in my '04 Tundra lasted 11 years. Never seen anything like it. The current 6 year old battery is getting iffy.
