Dang been about a month without a computer tower blue up, not conpleatly online yet but getting closer ......

i wanna build another computer but i don't want to but i'm gonna have to eventually but i don't want to

everything's too expensive nowadays

i am totally out of touch with pc parts. it's been 2 or 3 years or so since i had parts in a shopping cart to build a new one.

windows 11 blows ass but am not doing a linux variant

i'm still running a liquid cooled i7 4790k w/32gb ram and a lowly gtx 660ti 3gb blower card. the m.2 died so i'm on a 2.5" ssd so as to not have much down time but i've never switched back to a new m.2 drive.

i just got extra support time for my windows 10 and BAM, an update come thru and changes a setting on my pc. now it appears that i have to "fix" it every time i boot up the system.

i guess i should start looking into it again.

has anyone made hacks to make win 111 look like win 10 like they did for 8 to look like 7?

i've been very fond of the win 10 start menu for some time now.




gonna hate to lose that. i've been using it for so long.

how come ups only comes early if i am waiting for fedex?

I rarely see FedEx for delivery

i been thru a tropical storm and i always wished to go thru a hurricane. then i saw the aftermath and was like....yeah,maybe not....then i saw video of being hunkered down and the noise for hours and hours and hours with no power and was like ...yeah. maybe not.

I fell out the other day...our grocery had some decent, not prime, short ribs. They wanted $18 a lb!!! I can remember, in the way back days, where butchers were basically giving away short ribs. Damn crazy.

I use to pick up that stew meat 1 lb for maybe $3 , fry it up in butter and garlic , pretty tasty , now they want $9 lb for scraps !!

I used to hike this forest. It was a dense forest and you couldn't see the sky.
My friend didn't have power for 6 days.
