Congratulations. I like the sound of Klipsch Heritage speakers. Incidentally, I met Robben Ford and he not only is a great guitar player, but also one cool person.

Got to the wreckers after work and found the part I was looking for. If I want to buy an OEM from Hyundai it was going to cost $650 + taxes. From the wreckers I paid a grand total of $20.59 taxes and environmental fees included. Took me longer to make the trip to and from the donor car than it took to remove the part. Installed it after dinner. Cleared the codes and no more check engine light. We'll see over the next couple of days if all remains good. They have a 15 day return policy. As you can see, not much of a part when you compare it to the utility knife or remote.

It seems that this would be a fly by wire throttle or it enhances the flow in coordination with the throttle blade. Could carbon buildup in the blades cause this to fail?

Usually government regulators in action. I once paid $300 for a small part: a spring, a rubber diaphragm, and a plastic assembly. I ought to have went to a wrecking yard. :)
 
A mix I put together (82 good cuts in there):

This mix calls for setting the 'Way Back' Machine, to a time when Vietnam was not exactly a vacation spot; to a time when the music from 'back in the world,' helped folks keep their stuff together...the hope of getting home, getting out, and what was waiting there. Remembering how much groovin' in the hootch provided a break from reality, and a little time away from what was. The time was mostly unbearable boredom, but was punctuated by periods of stark, unmitigated terror. Having good music from home made some of the times of boredom alot less so.

I agree that they were built to last!

Picked up a pair of Heresy II’s and they have been my mainstay on my basement system after trying a variety of receivers paired with different speakers.

Currently paired with the Sansui G-3500

One of the best studio pro’s in the business. He’s played live many times, with The Blue Line, at The Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, CA. Only an hour South of where I live but, sadly, never made it to his shows! Some day…
I’ve had my share of Klipsch Heritage speakers over the years and can’t seem to not buy them for the right deal.

A solid investment in great sounding speakers, built to last, with a dynamic sound! A big bonus is the availability of replacement parts
