That was big money in 75. Gas was what, $1 a gallon. I got I think $5200. I made them wait until 2 days before my discharge date lol

not even a dollar. like 50 cents maybe. same as a pack of cigarettes.

'73 was a good year - draft ended, Texas lowered its drinking age to 18. I would take a five dollar bill on payday Friday nite, get gas, buy a pack of cigs and a sixer - get change back and be set to cruise the drag...........

If you've been using it for that long (?) I would clean the bare copper with deoxit, as it would definitely be oxidized... if you've never cleaned them you may be in for a big surprise...

Very much so! The only info I must pass on is Chinese quality control is often abysmal, and my Mark Levinson clone I had to swap the mainboard out, as there was pops and bangs out the speakers... the seller was extremely good and sent me a new tested mainboard for free, which I replaced... also ALL the RCA input jacks were swapped around, red (+) was on the top row instead of the bottom row! Of no consequences to sound, but just shows the shiit quality control... the input module board failed some months later and they sent me a new input module board as well, which when assembling I installed the RCA jacks in the correct position... this is one common issue- quality control...
