Well............... I wouldn't do it- residual water can hang around under components for weeks... I have to deal with this very often at work with equipment left out in the rain!

I can understand that with unattended equipment just sitting outside , this guy doesn't allow that , he immediately follows up spraying them out with compressed air then into a 170 degree oven for a couple 3 hours to eliminate all the moisture , the real key is making sure it's completely dry before power is applied.

Trying to push people to give up something like that just doesn't work , like sending people to rehab , it takes so much effort from the individual that they gotta wanna or it's not happening.

I sold almost all of my 33 & 34 waist pants about 15 months ago. Then I lost 50 lbs.
I've been wearing some 34 waist Carhartt shorts but they need a belt or else.
I found 2 pairs of 33/30 Levi 550's I haven't fit since the 90's last week

Excellent I just got back into 32/32. Thanks to YMCA gym and knocking off two deserts every night lol

Well there's this , for about 4 years now he's been defying many peoples fear of mixing water and electronics though he doesn't recommend it he is yet to have a failure as a result , quite the opposite actually.

He's also been known to employ a pressure washer to clean the insides. Then he puts the amp or receiver into the kitchen oven to dry.
